loss of hair from change in diet was created by Cathy Fraleigh
Hi Allison,

My family has been gluten free for 7 years and decided to try gluten again because the diet is so restrictive. Two months after eating gluten my kids hair fell out. This has been horrible for their self esteem. My son refuses to leave the house without a hat. Both my kids had very full thick hair. Now , their hair is super thin with a cotton candy appearance. Most of the hair loss has been from the crown area. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Cathy

Hi Cathy

I can imagine how upsetting this hair loss must be for your children.

Silicea is usually the tissue salt most recommended for hair loss, and the Kali Sulph has a conditioning effect on the scalp. Kali Sulph is also associated with the digestive tract, and Calc Phos for digestion and assimilation of nutrients, especially in growing children or teenagers.

All the best,
Alison
