Horse allergy was created by Elizabeth
Every year around sept/October my horse face swells due to allergies

Please can you advise which tissue salts will help as a preventative measure?

Nat Mur and Kali Mur are two of the tissue salts most commonly used for seasonal allergies. Nat Mur more specifically for the swelling and itching, and Kali Mur for conditioning the mucous membranes.

Many people use our Immuno Synergy , which contains them both. It has added Ferrum Phos with anti-inflammatory action, Calc Sulph , a cleanser that protects cell membranes and Silicea , which helps to remove the pollens or fine seeds.

We always had good responses to tissue salts for horses when my daughter was riding. Sometimes the horses will take them from your hand, but alternately you should supplement each feed. I'd suggest at least 3 tablets twice a day at this stage to build up the tissues, and should the allergies present, increase that dose to double and with greater frequency as required.
